Volunteer Speaker Application Form

Thank you for your interest in becoming a local volunteer speaker at the Connect & Thrive Womenโ€™s Conference! To be eligible, speakers must reside within the greater Los Angeles, CA, or Raleigh-Durham, NC area.

All speaker applications will be reviewed and approved by 2025 Connect & Thrive Women’s Conference Board Members. Approved speakers will be notified by February 15, 2025. Please note that all volunteer speakers must be at least 18 years of age and do not require parental consent. They may also be required to undergo a voluntary background check.

Notification Process: Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Speakers will have 7 days to respond to acceptance notices; failure to respond within this timeframe may result in the revocation of the invitation. Approved speakers will receive the VIP benefits outlined below; however, we are unable to provide any additional benefits without prior approval from 2025 Connect & Thrive Womenโ€™s Conference Board Members.

Code of Conduct: All speakers, attendees, and sponsors are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct for the Connect & Thrive Womenโ€™s Conference, which can be viewed Speakers Code of Conduct.

Benefits for Speakers:

As a volunteer speaker, you will receive:

  • Premium VIP Access to conference and one (1) additional Premium VIP ticket
  • Complimentary breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) at the conference
  • Visibility and recognition among peers and attendees on website and all marketing materials
  • A free booth at the event
  • Premium VIP Access to After Party & Cocktail Hour and one (1) additional Premium VIP ticket to After Party
  • Premium VIP event swag

*Please be advised that all volunteers may be subject to a voluntary background check as part of our screening process. This measure is designed to ensure the safety and integrity of our event. Participation in the background check process is entirely voluntary, and any information obtained will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of evaluating suitability for volunteer roles.

At the Connect & Thrive Womenโ€™s Conference, attendees and speakers under 21 years of age are welcome to participate; however, they are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol. To ensure compliance with the legal drinking age of 21, valid identification will be required for all individuals wishing to consume alcohol at the event. This policy is in place to maintain a professional and respectful atmosphere while adhering to legal guidelines. We encourage all participants to familiarize themselves with these regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
