Community Impact Award Overview
We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Connect & Thrive Women’s Conference will be dedicating a portion of its proceeds to support a women-led nonprofit that is making a meaningful impact in the lives of women and children in Los Angeles County.
As part of our commitment to community empowerment, we are excited to introduce the Community Impact Award—a financial grant awarded to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aligns with our mission of fostering education, mentorship, leadership development, and essential resources for women and children.
Who Can Apply?
We invite women-led nonprofits and charities based in Los Angeles County, California, that focus on supporting women and children to apply for this award. The selected organization will receive funding to further its mission and create a lasting impact in the community.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this award, organizations must:
- ✅ Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating within Los Angeles County, California.
- ✅ Demonstrate a clear and impactful mission focused on empowering women and/or children.
- ✅ Be considered “women-led”, meaning the organization has either:
- A female founder, or
- A majority of female leadership within the board and upper management.
✅ Demonstrate financial responsibility and effective use of funds.
✅ Agree to public acknowledgment if selected as the recipient.
Award Details
- 💰 Award Amount: The grant amount will be determined based on a percentage of the conference’s net profits.
- 🏆 Number of Awards: Only one nonprofit will be selected for the 2025 Community Impact Award.
- 🎤 Public Recognition: The recipient will receive special recognition at the 2025 Connect & Thrive Women’s Conference, including on-stage acknowledgment and a feature on our platforms.

- 📌 Copy and paste the application questions into an email.
- 📌 Provide thorough answers to each question.
- 📌 Attach your IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter.

- 📌 Subject line: “Community Impact Application – [Organization Name]”

Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the following:
- 🔹 Mission & Alignment – The organization must be dedicated to empowering women and/or supporting children through its programs and initiatives.
- 🔹 Impact & Potential – Demonstrated success or a strong plan for creating meaningful change. New and emerging nonprofits are encouraged to apply.
- 🔹 Fund Utilization Plan – A clear and responsible strategy on how the awarded funds will be used to enhance programs, services, or community impact.
- 🔹 Leadership & Stability – Strong leadership with a track record of responsible operations and commitment to sustainability.
- 🔹 Community Engagement & Reach – Evidence of direct community impact, testimonials, or success stories that showcase the organization’s effectiveness.
