🔬🤝 Women in STEM Networking Outside the Lab: Build Connection 🌍✨ Networking outside of STEM for women is vital for fresh perspectives, personal growth, broadening your world, building confidence, and fostering genuine human connection – potentially even leading to lasting friendships. For women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), particularly those from lab environments, building connections beyond their technical domain is a key skill. This networking workshop is specifically designed for women STEM professionals to empower them in networking outside of STEM for women, build meaningful relationships, and enrich their lives through diverse interactions.

Understanding the Need for Networking Outside of STEM for Women 🤔

Drawing on insights from within the STEM community, and understanding firsthand from my STEM educational background 📚 and extensive time spent working in research 🔬 labs and highly technical environments, I observed firsthand how deeply focused and sometimes reserved scientists can be – often excelling technically but finding interactions outside their specific domain challenging. We recognize that while you excel in technical expertise, navigating social interactions and building rapport outside your comfort zone can sometimes feel less intuitive or even daunting, especially for those who identify as introverts.
