The Connect & Thrive Ambassador Program is designed for women who believe in the power of entrepreneurship, community, and meaningful connections. As an Ambassador, you will help create a welcoming and engaging experience for conference attendees while supporting our mission of empowering women entrepreneurs, small business owners, and aspiring founders.
We are seeking women who are passionate about helping others grow, sharing resources, fostering connections, and contributing to a positive conference experience.
Ambassador Roles
Community Ambassadors
Community Ambassadors serve as welcoming faces of the conference and help attendees feel connected and engaged throughout the event.
- Sharing conference information within your professional and community networks
- Welcoming attendees
- Facilitating introductions and conversations
- Supporting networking activities
- Helping create an inclusive and positive conference environment
- Assisting attendees in navigating conference activities
Moderator Ambassadors
Moderator Ambassadors help facilitate meaningful conversations during conference panel discussions.
- Moderating a panel discussion
- Introducing panelists and session topics
- Guiding audience engagement
- Managing audience questions
- Keeping discussions focused and on schedule
- Supporting a professional and engaging conference experience
Moderator positions are limited and will be assigned based on experience, qualifications, and conference needs.

Ambassador Community
Connect & Thrive Ambassadors are more than conference volunteers—they are part of a community of women committed to supporting entrepreneurship, connection, and growth.
Leading up to the conference, Ambassadors will have opportunities to participate in virtual meetings designed to:
- Build relationships with fellow Ambassadors
- Learn about conference programming and initiatives
- Share ideas and resources
- Discuss ways to support attendees and strengthen the conference experience
- Stay informed about conference updates and opportunities
These gatherings help create a collaborative Ambassador team and ensure everyone feels prepared and connected before conference day.
Ambassador Commitment & Expectations
To help ensure a positive and successful experience for all attendees, selected Ambassadors are expected to:
- Participate in Ambassador community meetings and orientation sessions leading up to the conference
- Review conference information, schedules, and ambassador responsibilities
- Support conference awareness efforts through professional and community networks
- Serve as a positive representative of the Connect & Thrive mission
- Attend the conference for the full event day
- Arrive on time and be available for ambassador assignments
- Assist with attendee engagement and networking activities
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment
- Support attendees by answering questions and helping facilitate connections
Moderator Ambassadors will also be expected to:
- Participate in a moderator preparation session
- Review panel topics and speaker information in advance
- Prepare panel discussion questions
- Facilitate professional and engaging panel discussions
- Manage audience questions and session timing
All Ambassadors are expected to:
- Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully
- Support an inclusive and welcoming environment for all attendees
- Represent the conference with integrity and professionalism
- Communicate promptly regarding conference-related responsibilities
Time Commitment
The estimated commitment for Ambassadors includes:
- Participation in periodic virtual Ambassador meetings leading up to the conference
- Pre-conference communication and preparation
- Full-day participation during the conference
- Networking Reception participation (recommended)
Moderator Ambassadors should anticipate additional preparation time related to their assigned panel discussions.
Meeting schedules and expectations will be communicated in advance.

Ambassador Selection
Ambassador positions are limited.
Applications will be reviewed based on alignment with the conference mission, communication skills, professionalism, and willingness to contribute to a positive attendee experience.
